Another Jesus
"Another Jesus?" Can this even be possible? Of course there can only be one "Real Jesus", because a man named Jesus really lived and walked upon the Earth 2,000 years ago, and there was only one of Him. Nevertheless, not everyone believes in this one "Real Jesus", the Jesus who has been revealed to us by God in His book, the Bible. Instead, many people believe in "Another Jesus" other than this one "Real Jesus" who is up in Heaven right now. This same Real Jesus who is up in Heaven will be coming back to Earth very soon to Judge the world and set up His Kingdom on Earth.
"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." (2 Corinthians 11:3-4)
One example of "Another Jesus" is the idea held by many that Jesus is the same as God the Father. Those who proclaim this idea therefore have "another Jesus". Some think that Jesus sinned. They have "another Jesus". Some people think of an image of Jesus, such as in the false images of Jesus from the blasphemous, "R"-rated movies, "The Last Temptation of Christ" and anti-Semitic Mel Gibson's "The Passion of The Christ" (pictured above). They too have "another Jesus".
Who is your Jesus? Is your Jesus a little tiny Jesus who lives inside of your heart while it pumps your blood? Is your Jesus a spirit who floats up in the air around you? Is your Jesus the "Sun of God" who gives you light each day? Don't laugh, because there are many people who believe each of these ideas about Jesus. Each of these is "another Jesus". And how about you? Who is your Jesus?
If you believe in "Another Jesus", then this is a real problem for you. It is a real problem because it means that you will go to Hell when you die. Only the Real Jesus can save you from your sins. Only the Real Jesus shed His blood on the Cross 2,000 years ago. Only the Real Jesus is in Heaven right now. You need to trust the Real Jesus who is up in Heaven to forgive you of your sins. If you will not trust the Real Jesus, and instead trust in "Another Jesus", then you must go to Hell. Repent therefore, and trust Jesus today!
